How to Prepare for Your Wedding Day Hair and Makeup

Brianna Villanuevas' Southern Californias Hair and Makeup team are here to make sure you look absolutely breathtaking when you walk down that aisle.

Hello, lovely brides-to-be!

Are you feeling the excitement in the air as your wedding day approaches? So, let's go over some essential details and insider tips to ensure everything goes smoothly! If you're looking for a Southern California Hair and Makeup team please visit Brivbeauty.com/brides for details. Now, lets get into the world of wedding day preparations.

When it comes to the arrival of our talented artist, they'll arrive 15 minutes before your first appointment to set up. It's all about creating a comfortable and inviting space for their work. We kindly ask you to designate an area with an outlet and natural light. This will help them work their magic and be able to work their best. Don't worry about the setup—we'll bring the chairs and table, but please ensure there's ample space for us to set up as well as work comfortably.

Our incredible hair and makeup coordinator is dedicated to creating a seamless timeline for all our brides. It's important that everyone receiving services is aware of their appointment time to ensure we stay on track.

Now, let's talk about makeup. To achieve that flawless look, we recommend arriving with a clean face. Avoid applying any lotions or creams beforehand, unless we've discussed otherwise. Our artist will take care of prepping your skin to ensure the makeup lasts and enhances your features beautifully. Oh, and don't forget to remove any eye makeup from the previous night, including mascara. It'll save us time and give us more room to focus on creating your dream look.

When it comes to hair, we want you to be able to have all the #pinteresthairgoals. Please arrive with clean, dry hair—no more than a day old, depending on how oily it tends to get. We know there's a misconception that dirty hair holds better, but trust us, fresh and clean hair is the way to go. Oily hair doesn't cooperate well and may affect the final result. So, let's keep it fresh and dry shall we?

As we discussed, our timeline doesn't allow for stylists to blow-dry wet or damp hair unless it was specifically discussed during the appointment booking process. If someone arrives with wet hair, it could potentially disrupt the entire schedule. To keep things flowing smoothly, the only service we may be able to provide in such cases is a blowout-style.

Let's work together to make sure everyone looks fabulous and stays on schedule. Thank you for your cooperation!

Now, let's dive into the exciting world of photo inspiration! We highly recommend bringing at least two photos for reference—one showcasing the front and another capturing the back. It's fantastic to have a visual idea of the makeup or hairstyle you desire. However, here's a little tip: try to find inspiration from individuals with similar features to yours. If you have blonde hair and blue eyes, it's best to focus on looks that complement those features rather than styles designed for brunettes with brown eyes. Let's find something that truly reflects your unique beauty and enhances your natural allure.

If you have any specific requests or ideas that we haven't discussed yet, please feel free to chat with your artist or hairstylist as soon as they arrive in the bridal suite. We want to ensure your vision comes to life and that you feel absolutely radiant on your special day.

And finally, let's touch upon gratuity. If you feel inclined to show your appreciation, we gladly accept gratuity in cash, Zelle, and Venmo. It's entirely optional, of course, but any extra gesture is appreciated
